Rabbia joined the Engineering Stem Cell Technologies Lab in May 2010 as an undergraduate researcher under the mentorship of Melissa Kinney. Her projects include analyzing the hydrodynamic effects from rotary orbital culture systems on forced-aggregate embryoid bodies as well as investigating the mechanical properties of stem cell spheroids given changes in the stem cell microenvironment. Rabbia graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in May 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, and she is continuing her work in the lab prior to attending medical school.
