Two McDevitt Lab Graduate Students Named Discovery Fellows

Many diseases are genetically linked to your DNA. Now imagine being able to change that. Envision a doctor telling you that they can simply “cut out” the gene that causes a disease.
On Thursday, April 27, 2017, Gladstone welcomed children related or close to its community members for its annual Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. During the day, the kids enjoyed a family-friendly lunch, liquid-nitrogen ice cream, science screenings, lab and facilities tours, and more.
Ashley Libby, Ariel Kauss, David Joy, Jessie Butts and Oriane Matthys all particpated and make the day special for Gladstone's young visitors.
Over the past 18 years, 418 children have participated in Gladstone's annual Take Our Daughters & Sons to Work Day.
